These are the HYROX weights for Season 26/27. The running does not change with them: 1 km before every station, 8 km in total, in every division. The order of the stations is on HYROX stations and race format. Every kilogram below is from the HYROX Singles Rulebook. The doubles rulebook uses the same loads. It does not publish a second chart.

HYROX weights

Four divisions share three columns, because men in the Open division and women in the Pro division lift the same station loads. Women are the lighter column. Men pro are the heavier column. The middle column is both of the groups in between.

Station Women Men and Women Pro Men Pro
SkiErg 1,000 m 1,000 m 1,000 m
Sled push 102 kg 152 kg 202 kg
Sled pull 78 kg 103 kg 153 kg
Burpee broad jumps 80 m 80 m 80 m
Rowing 1,000 m 1,000 m 1,000 m
Farmers carry 2 × 16 kg 2 × 24 kg 2 × 32 kg
Sandbag lunges 10 kg 20 kg 30 kg
Wall balls 4 kg to 2.70 m 6 kg. Men to 3.00 m. Women pro to 2.70 m. 9 kg to 3.00 m

Sled push and sled pull are each four lengths of 12.5 metres, so 50 metres. Farmers carry is 200 metres. Sandbag lunges are 100 metres. Wall balls are 100 reps. Those distances and reps do not change when the weight does.

The rulebook marks the farmers carry and the sandbag by colour as well as by kilogram. White is women. Grey is men and women pro. Black is men pro. Picking the grey sandbag in the women’s Open race is the wrong implement. The rule is that you repeat the whole station on the correct one. A few lengths with the right bag at the end does not repair the lengths you did with the wrong one.

HYROX sled push weight

The sled push weight includes the sled. Women push 102 kg. Men and women pro push 152 kg. Men pro push 202 kg. If you only count the plates and ignore the sled, you will train lighter than the race and the first length on the day will feel like a different object.

You do not choose the sled. A judge assigns the lane and the sled. The whole sled has to cross the line at the end of each 12.5 metre length. The push is the heaviest moving object in the race for every division, and it is the second station, so it comes after the SkiErg and two kilometres of running, not at the start. Training the empty sled, or a sled you guess at, is a different skill from moving 102, 152, or 202 kg for 50 metres in four straight lengths.

HYROX sled pull weight

The sled pull weight also includes the sled, and it is lighter than the push in every column. Women pull 78 kg. Men and women pro pull 103 kg. Men pro pull 153 kg. The distance is the same 50 metres, four lengths of 12.5.

People mix these up with the push numbers. A men’s Open pull is 103 kg, not 152 kg. 152 kg is the men’s Open push. A men’s Pro pull is 153 kg, not 202 kg. 202 kg is the men’s Pro push. If a program or a gym whiteboard has swapped those, the pull session is much heavier than the race and the push session is light. Check the column, then check which sled station you are actually doing.

HYROX farmers carry weight

The farmers carry is two kettlebells, one in each hand, for 200 metres. Women carry 2 × 16 kg. Men and women pro carry 2 × 24 kg. Men pro carry 2 × 32 kg. “2 × 24 kg” means 24 kg in the left hand and 24 kg in the right hand, not 24 kg shared across both hands and not a single 48 kg bell.

Arms stay extended by your sides while you move. You can put the bells down, provided they do not creep forward as you set them down. At the end you return them to the box with the handles upright. The carry sits after the rower, so it is station six. Grip that was fine in a fresh gym set is not the same grip after 1,000 metres of rowing and five runs.

HYROX sandbag weight and HYROX wall ball weight

The sandbag lunge is 100 metres with one bag. Women use 10 kg. Men and women pro use 20 kg. Men pro use 30 kg. The bag stays on you. Putting it on the floor, a rail, or your foot so the load comes off is a 15-second penalty each time. This station is immediately before the wall balls, which is why the legs that throw the ball are the legs that just lunged.

Wall balls are 100 reps. Women use a 4 kg ball and throw it to a 2.70 metre target. Women pro use a 6 kg ball and still throw to 2.70 metres. Men use a 6 kg ball to a 3.00 metre target. Men pro use a 9 kg ball to a 3.00 metre target. The target height follows whether you are racing as a woman or a man. Moving from Open to Pro changes the ball, not the height of the target.

A wall-ball rep starts standing tall, with both hands on the ball. The squat has to reach below parallel, hips lower than the knees, and the throw has to hit your target, not the other one on the same rig. There is a separate target for women and for men in the lane. Hitting the lower target in a men’s race, or the higher target poorly enough that it does not count as a strike, is a no-rep. The station does not use a warning system. The rep is valid or it is not.

HYROX open weights and HYROX pro weights

Open is the women’s column or the men’s column, depending on who is racing. Pro is the next column across. For a woman, Pro means leaving 102 kg, 78 kg, 2 × 16 kg, 10 kg, and 4 kg, and racing 152 kg, 103 kg, 2 × 24 kg, 20 kg, and 6 kg. For a man, Pro means leaving 152 kg, 103 kg, 2 × 24 kg, 20 kg, and 6 kg, and racing 202 kg, 153 kg, 2 × 32 kg, 30 kg, and 9 kg.

Three stations do not appear in that list, because Pro does not make them heavier. The SkiErg is 1,000 metres. The burpee broad jumps are 80 metres with no external load. The rower is 1,000 metres. The damper on the SkiErg and the rower starts at 6 for everyone, and you may change it. Choosing Pro does not change the damper, the run, or those three stations.

Women’s Open and women’s Pro are both on this page because they are different races. A women’s Open athlete who trains the grey kettlebells and the 6 kg ball is training Pro. That can be a choice for a session. It is not the Open race.

HYROX weights for doubles

Doubles do not get their own kilograms. Doubles women use the women’s Open loads: 102 kg push, 78 kg pull, 2 × 16 kg carry, 10 kg sandbag, 4 kg ball. Doubles men, mixed doubles, and women pro use the middle column: 152 kg, 103 kg, 2 × 24 kg, 20 kg, 6 kg. Doubles men pro use the men’s Pro loads: 202 kg, 153 kg, 2 × 32 kg, 30 kg, 9 kg.

Sharing the station with a partner does not split the sled in half. The sled is still 152 kg if that is your division. What changes in doubles is who is allowed to do the work and where the resting partner has to stand. Those partner rules sit on the technique pages, because they are about positions, not about a different weight chart.

If you are setting a training load this week, use the column for the division you will actually race. Then use the technique page for that station so the weight is on the right object: a sled that already includes its own mass, two kettlebells rather than one, a sandbag that stays on the shoulders, a wall ball thrown to the correct target.
