you’ll find a track for every race in the Hyrox season. So whether you have
one race or you’re racing every weekend, you’ll always be race ready.
First timer or Podium contender?
The program meets you where you are. Using the Hyrox Race Calculator we tailor
the program to your target race time. Don’t worry if you don’t have one, our
coaches can help you set it. We want every session to be bespoke to you and
your Hyrox ambitions.
Have multiple races booked?
Once you’ve completed your first race you’ll be guided through a ‘transition
week’ to enable your body and brain to recover. Rested and raring to go you’ll
select your next race track, building on your last performance and hunt down a
PB!

Completed a full 12 week Hyrox programme (with a partner who was a very strong runner) and went from dreading the run to making huge progress and ended up really enjoying it. Very well thought out programme that balanced areas to improve with my stronger points to get me to a well-rounded position for the race. Ended up beating our target time by 2 minutes, which definitely wouldn’t have been possible without HAC’s help!

I can’t put into words just how much James has helped me with my fitness. I feel unbelievably fitter than 12 months ago. I couldn’t squat or barbell with any technique. My running was boring and stagnant. My fitness was inefficient. James set me programmes that enabled me to complete an individual HYROX, doubles HYROX and other competitions. I had no motivation or goals and he helped me accomplish things I never thought possible. On race days, he gave the best advice. I would never have done the things I have this year without his help. It’s shown me that anyone can do anything with the right help. Thank you james.

Hybrid athlete program as you expect but a whole lot more
Ive been getting programs and coaching off HAC and James for just under a year and they are perfect for me, any programs I get and I’m either not sure about or just want something different, he gets to work and really personalise it to make it more tailored and enjoyable.The programming speaks for it self as I had a massive improvement in my running at the back end of last year getting pb’s and even a few Spartan race wins. I am currently on the hybrid athlete program but have also added some of the running program on as an extra.I can’t wait to see what I can do next year on the program! Can’t speak highly enough, I even get kind feed back on there social media from people iv never met, some what like a community feeling.

Program Overview
We recommend joining Race Ready from 16 weeks out from your first race, but you can join at any time!
The full program follows a progressive 16 week cycle, but when you join, our coaches are on hand to seamlessly onboard you into the program regardless of when you join.
The 16 weeks are structured across three training phases:
1. The Base Phase: Focuses on building Aerobic capacity and developing top end strength in transferable movement patterns to Hyrox exercises.
2. The Build Phase: Builds upon our Aerobic base and intends to develop our familiarity and endurance at and around our lactate threshold. Gym sessions will now frequently include mixed modal workouts and feature lots of Hyrox movements coupled with running.
3. The Peak Phase: This four week block will sharpen the axe ready for race day! We’ll establish a target pace and cadence for each Hyrox element, then practice at that intensity. You’ll watch a webinar on how to taper and carb load, then it’s time to rest and recover for race day.
